Say “l---o---t” without / l / and / t / sounds for the letter “o”.

Say “og” when you see a dog.
Say “og” when you jog.
Say “og” when you sit on a log.
Say “ong” when you have a long ruler.
Say “op” when you mop the floor.
Say “ok” when you play hockey.
